Express entry is an online point based system. That gives a foreign applicant, the right to live and work in Canada or Australia without any time limit on their stay.
To become a Canadian or Australia permanent president, you will be assessed through various factors and informations provided in your Express Entry profile, such as your age, language, proficiency, qualifications, work experience, IELTS, etc.
With these factors, the candidate will be awarded points based on how young and skilled they are, coupled with their chances of adaptability.
This is known as the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
This will be used to assess the applicant's express entry profile and also be used to rank and score them in the express entry pool.
The comprehensive Ranking System, is used by the Express Entry System to score candidates who applied through the Federal Governments Skilled Workers Programs.

IELTS:

This will be used to used to assess the candidates level of English language proficiency, to confirm that they will be able to speak and communicate in English language.
Because of the technicality of this exam, unfortunately most foreign applicants do not get their desired score at one sitting, thereby making it difficult for them to have a high CRS point or the required target score.
A good IELTS will boost an applicants CRS points, therefore it's necessary to retake this test, if the desired points wasn't gotten in the first sitting.
Some PR applicants go as far as taking the IELTS up to 4 - 5 times or more, in order to get the required and their desired point, which will guaranty them the Permanent Resident Card.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
This is the total number if years the applicant has been in the work force.
The total number of years the applicant has worked for an organisation, will help in boosting the CRS points.
The minimum number of years required is one (1) year, for mostly provincial nomination and 2 years for express entry. The higher the number of years the candidate have worked, the higher their CRS points in the express entry pool.
Having a temporary work in Canada or Canadian work experience, may give an applicant an edge over others and may also guaranty a short stay in the express entry pool.
An Express entry applicant with a none or minimal work experience, should work on accumulating experience in their field or getting a temporary work in Canada.
The number of years an applicant has worked will not only boost the CRS points, but will also show the level of their experience and skills.
EXPLORE THE SPOUSAL OR COMMON-LAW PARTNER POINTS:
An express entry applicant should explore all the available options of improving and boosting their CRS points. In order to get the maximum points in the permanent resident application journey, an applicant should explore the spousal points by evaluating their common-law partner's credentials along with their own and also taking the IELTS along with them also, the points from their work experience and even their age, will be added to the applicant's CRS points.
This will greatly boost their points as a family in the express entry pool. PR candidates who are married should include their common-law partners in their Canadian or Australian Express entry journey, in order to get all the necessary and available points possible to increase their chances of getting an invitation to apply.
GETTING A JOB OFFER LETTER FROM A CANADIAN COMPANY
This can be made possible by the PR applicant, through application of jobs to several Australian or Canadian companies with LMIA, from their native countries.
LMIA means the Labour Market Impact Assessment.
This is a document that gives an employer in Canada the liberty of hiring foreign and skilled workers from another country. The employer is mandated to obtain this document, before hiring foreign workers.
Express entry candidates who were able to get a job offer an employer in Canada or Australia, have a very high chance of getting an invitation to apply and this will also help in improving the candidates CRS points in the Express Entry pool.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: A permanent resident application should consider taking up an approved program, which will help in boosting their points for Canadian or Australian Express entry. This could be a few months program,which is accredited and also approved by the Canadian Government. A program that is capable of fetching the applicant extra points and can be used to claim 2 or more certificates.
The applicant can also decide to go straight for MSC/MBA, which is even far better than just BSc, HND or 2 BSc joined together.

If the applicant is nominated by a province, they will be awarded/granted additional 600 points which will be added to their Express Entry score, this will automatically them the invitation to apply.

The candidate should cross-check their CV and confirm that it's showcasing their skills and also clearly typed or stated, in order to increase their chances of getting an invitation from Canadian or Australian provinces or regions.
